Meet the 2025 Chevy Equinox: Versatile and Stylish

Cabin

The Chevrolet Equinox comes with Convenience Package I to make your rides relaxing with features like heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Remote Start makes it possible to turn your engine on or off from inside your house and even control your Equinox’s climate settings. Convenience Package I also comes with remote express windows and illuminated mirrors.

The Equinox has a 5-passenger seating arrangement that includes a 6-way manual driver seat with forward/back, up/down, and recline positioning. The back seat is a 60/40 split bench with a rear center armrest that can be folded up or down as needed. When you lay this seat down flat, it gives your Equinox a maximum cargo volume of 63.5 cubic feet.

Tech

The new Chevy Equinox has an 11.3-inch color LCD display with Google built-in. Google built-in includes Google Assistant for creating an in-cabin calendar, Maps for getting GPS navigation, and Play for downloading even more apps to the Equinox. The 2025 Equinox also has wireless smartphone connectivity from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety

Just like the previous Equinox model, this year’s Equinox comes with the innovative Chevy Safety Assist collision-avoidance package. Chevy Safety Assist uses the following assistive driving features to watch your surroundings and take corrective action for you to avoid an accident:

• Following distance indicator
• Lane keep assist with lane departure warning
• Automatic emergency braking
• Front pedestrian braking

Additional assistive safety functions in the new Equinox include intersection automatic emergency braking, rear park assist, side bicyclist alert, and blind zone steering assist. The new Equinox also comes with OnStar Basics, an HD rear vision camera, Safety Alert Seat, Buckle to Drive, and Rear Seat Reminder.

Exterior

The Chevrolet Equinox is a small SUV with 17-inch Grazen Metallic machined-face aluminum wheels, deep-tinted rear windows, solar-absorbing front windows, and heated power mirrors. The LED headlamps turn on and off automatically according to your Equinox’s surroundings, while the IntelliBeam automatic high beams dim when there’s an oncoming vehicle heading in your direction.

Performance

The Chevy Equinox achieves 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque, courtesy of a 1.5L turbo engine and a continuous variable transmission. After driving the new Equinox, you’ll notice that you’re spending less and less on fuel. This is thanks to the automatic stop/start engine technology, which shuts your engine down at complete stops and restarts it as you let off the brake.
